Calling all local filmmakers!

The lineup is posted. We'll see you Monday, Nov. 11 @ 9pm.

Do you want a chance to see your film on the big screen?
We’re putting together a shorts collection and we want to watch your film. We’ll pick our favorites and show them on Monday, November 11 @ 9pm.

We believe in the big-screen experience and feel that it is important that auteurs know what their films look like on screen. That’s why we’re opening our big theater up to local filmmakers — students, professionals, or weekend zombie warriors — for one night.  And without a submission fee!

How to get involved:

Get your film to us by Sunday, November 3 @ 5pm.

Drop your short off at the box office from 10am to 8pm M–F (see our film schedule for weekend hours). Bring them on a disk or jump drive (drive preferred — we’ll give it back). Formats accepted: .mov, .mp4, 720 or 1080p preferred.

Please include the following:

>Your name & address
>Email & phone number
>Movie title & runtime

You can also send your film to us with Dropbox (if your film’s under 2 GB). Send it to [email protected]

Please send an email to Steve with the above information, too.

We’ll get acceptance emails out no later than Friday, November 8 (but hopefully sooner).

Requirements:

You have to live in Mid-Missouri. You should plan on attending, if you can.

We’re looking for films no longer than 12 minutes. Though, if you have a 20-minute movie that you think is awesome, send it in and we’ll take a look at it. And if you’d like to submit a clip from your feature or work-in-progress, that’s fine too.

You can submit multiple films.

Your film should be appropriate for a general audience...an R rating is fine.

Showtime:

The November 11 screening is free and open to the public.

Accepted filmmakers will be put on a guest list with a +1.

There will be a discussion and Q&A after the program.
