Ragtag Cinema is entirely on one level and is wheelchair accessible, including the box office, restrooms, drinking-water station, and both theaters. We can easily accommodate wheelchairs by removing unfixed chairs from both theaters.
Hittsville has single-stall restrooms and a baby-changing station in the bathroom down the hall to the theaters. You don't need a movie ticket to use them. If there is a movie going on, please tell the box office person you are just using the restroom.
Both of Ragtag’s screens support CaptiView, a personal closed-captioning device. Closed captions are wirelessly transmitted to a small, easy-to-read screen that stands on the ground in front of your seat. CaptiView devices are equipped with high-contrast displays and privacy visors that minimize distractions to other theatergoers. We will bring CaptiView to you and help you get it situated. After the movie, please leave it in the theater.
For films with hearing impaired (HI-dialogue) and/or visually impaired (VI-narration) tracks, both screens also support Fidelio, a wireless audio receiver that delivers descriptive narration and/or amplifies the movie’s dialogue to guests who have visual and/or hearing impairments. Each Fidelio receiver comes with a plug-in headset, but guests may use their personal headsets or headphones if desired (1/8" jack).
For all films regardless of audio setup, we have ListenTech hearing assist receivers, which amplify all audio sources, including mics and other non-film content.
To enhance your experience, please call one hour ahead for Fidelio or CaptiView to arrange for assistive technologies. Please note that closed-captioning and descriptive-narration availability is determined by film distributors; some films might not be enabled for CaptiView or Fidelio systems.
