Cinema Policies

In order to assure that everyone has a great moviegoing experience at Ragtag Cinema, we have developed these policies. Please respect them and encourage others to do so.

• Phone use is not permitted in the theaters. The light emitted from phones is disruptive. This includes checking the time, etc.
• Please save comments and questions until the credits roll.
• Food and drink from Uprise Bakery is welcome in our theaters. No other food and drink is allowed in our theaters or in Uprsie Bakery's dining room or patio.
• No smoking. No vaping.
• Disruptive behavior is not tolerated.

Tardiness

No latecomers will be admitted after the feature has started. Generally, there are 10 minutes of previews before the feature. However, there are often no trailers before screenings that include a post-film Q&A.

All tickets are general seating. While tickets purchased online guarantee you a seat, they don't guarantee you a seat next to your movie buddy. If you arrive after the lights have gone down, you may not be able to find seats together.

Free Events

Tickets to free events are available at our box office starting at 12 noon the day of the show (unless otherwise noted). No more than four free tickets will be given to one person.

A free ticket guarantees you a seat until 10 minutes before showtime and not after. If all tickets have been distributed and there are open seats at 10 till, we will start seating the theater from the waiting list (queue). Ticket holders will continue to be admitted at this time if seats are available. This policy allows us to start on time and give the audience a distraction-free experience.

Refunds

Refunds are given on a case-by-case basis. If the movie is cancelled due to an error on our part, you will receive a refund. In the event of a power failure and/or natural disaster (or an event beyond our control), you will receive one free movie voucher (if Ragtag is still standing).
