All of Us Strangers

Pensive screenwriter Adam (Andrew Scott) lives alone in a newly built yet nearly empty high-rise apartment on the outskirts of London. After a chance encounter with his only neighbor Harry (Paul Mescal), the two enter a passionate relationship altering the rhythm of Adam’s daily life. Preoccupied with memories of the past, and seeking inspiration for his writing, Adam travels to his suburban childhood home and discovers that his parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell) are still living just as they were on the day they died, 30 years ago. Adapted from a 1987 novel by Taichi Yamada, All of Us Strangers delivers a potent portrait of love and forgiveness liberated from space and time.
