Booksmart

On the eve of their high school graduation, best friends Amy (Kaitlyn Dever) and Molly (Beanie Feldstein) realize they have missed out on being teenagers by spending all their time studying. In an attempt to make up on lost time, the girls decide to cram four years of fun into one wild night. Bringing a fresh perspective to the “raunchy” coming-of-age buddy comedy, Booksmart is the directorial debut for acclaimed actress Olivia Wilde. With a cast of comedy heavy hitters and multiple awards from critics, this film skillfully explores the nuances of teenage female friendships as well as reminding that growing up is realizing that stereotypes are useless.
