An early progenitor of blending 80s nostalgia, Hollywood science fiction, and suburban paranoia, writer and director Richard Kelly crafts a daring vision of teenage doom and gloom. After struggling to receive distribution upon its release, Donnie Darko slowly found its audience, emerging as one of the first cult classics of the millennium. In honor of its 25th anniversary, it will screen on 35mm.
