Details About the Film

This film is part of the series Wired: Energy Policy on Film

Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson), a programmer at a top search engine company, wins the chance to spend the week at the home of reclusive CEO Nathan (Oscar Isaac). Upon his arrival, he learns that Nathan would like him to evaluate the human qualities of his invention built with artificial intelligence, the humanoid robot Ava (Alicia Vikander).

Considered to be one of the best science-fiction films of the 2010s, Ex Machina is a provocative exploration of men and machines. This free screening, presented by Renew Missouri, will be followed by a panel discussion exploring the topics within the film.

Please note that FREE tickets for the public will be available at the Ragtag Box Office starting Monday, September 28 at 12PM.

No more than two free tickets will be given to one person.

A free ticket guarantees you a seat until 10 minutes before showtime and not after. If all tickets have been distributed and there are open seats at 10 till, we will start seating the theater from the waiting list (queue). Ticket holders will continue to be admitted at this time if seats are available. This policy allows us to start on time and give the audience a distraction-free experience.
