Adapted from the cyberpunk manga of the same name, Ghost in the Shell takes place in a distant future where the boundaries between humanity, machines, and the internet have collapsed leading to an increased risk of “brain-hacking.” When a dangerous hacker emerges, cyborg public-security agent Major Motoko Kusanagi is tasked with taking them down.

Returning to theaters in honor of its 30th anniversary, this anime film is considered one of the best science-fiction films and has inspired filmmakers globally, including The Wachowskis and James Cameron.

Ghost in the Shell will screen in both the original Japanese language with English subtitles and dubbed in English.
