Harold and Maude

Kirsten Johnson and Nels Bangerter (director and editor respectively of CAMERAPERSON and DICK JOHNSON IS DEAD) welcome the Ragtag community to a screening of HAROLD AND MAUDE.  Timeless, lovable, and totally absurd, Hal Ashby’s masterpiece influenced their thinking not only about the deepest meanings of elaborately staged deaths, but also about defying convention, grappling with narrative tone, and talking about what everyone is afraid to.

This screening will be followed by a discussion about HAROLD AND MAUDE led by Kirsten Johnson and Nels Bangerter.
