Film Reviews

"The scares in Hokum had me howling, jumping, and desperate to cover my eyes."

–Kristy Puchko, Mashable

"Damian McCarthy continues his streak for folkloric tales of supernatural karma and spine-tingling terror with a dark sense of humor. It's really freaking scary."

–Meagan Navarro, Bloody Disgusting

"What’s most remarkable about Hokum is that it’s not doing anything especially novel or innovative within the confines of the genre; instead, it’s simply a showcase for how a well-crafted, rock-solid ghost movie can still petrify you beyond belief."

–Hoai-Tran Bui, Inverse
