Details About the Film

Max and Leo are 8 and 5 years old and have just immigrated to the US with their mother. Their days pass inside a tiny apartment, while they wait for their mother to come back, as they hold on to the hope of traveling to Disney.

The Latine Film Festival is a series showcasing films from Spanish- speaking countries that explore the significance of immigration in our societies. Presented by the Cambio Center and Mizzou SACNAS.

The Latine Film Series was made possible with the support of Pragda, SPAIN arts & culture, and the Secretary of State for Culture of Spain, the Division of Inclusion, Diversity and Equity, International Programs, Ragtag Cinema, The Multicultural Center, and The Bridge.
