One Read: BeDevil

The first feature film directed by an Australian Aboriginal woman intimately explores the connection between cultural memory and landscape through a trio of ghost stories inspired by director’s Tracey Moffat’s Aboriginal and Irish heritage. In Mr. Chuck, a young boy is equally fascinated and scared of a swamp haunted by the ghost of an American GI. The second story, Choo Choo Choo Choo, stars Moffatt herself as a woman whose family is haunted by a ghost tethered to abandoned train tracks. The final tale, Lovin' the Spin I'm In, the ghosts of a doomed couple refuse to leave a condemned warehouse.

Presented as part of One Read, a program coordinated by the Daniel Boone Regional Library now in its twenty-third year. One Read is a community-wide reading program sponsored by a task force of local media and community agencies.

Please note that FREE tickets for the public will be available at the Ragtag Box Office starting Sunday, September 15 at 12PM. 

No more than four free tickets will be given to one person.

A free ticket guarantees you a seat until 10 minutes before showtime and not after. If all tickets have been distributed and there are open seats at 10 till, we will start seating the theater from the waiting list (queue). Ticket holders will continue to be admitted at this time if seats are available. This policy allows us to start on time and give the audience a distraction-free experience.
