Ragtag Cinema Birthday Party

Celebrate Ragtag Cinema's 23rd year with our annual Birthday Party. This year we're taking over an airplane hangar for a first class experience including a screening of CASABLANCA and the announcement of our 2023 CoMo Famous winner.

For your chance to attend, you must donate at least $10 online to any CoMo Famous contestant —once you've donated, you can RSVP here. Donations can be made using the link on each contestant’s page, by adding a donation onto your CoMo Famous screening ticket purchase or through our Donate page.

There will be live music from Tom Andes before the screening. Tom Andes is a Berklee School of Music graduate, Adjunct Professor of Jazz Piano at the University of Missouri, and resident pianist at the famed Murry’s Restaurant. His study under distinguished jazz masters and ear for classic pieces is evidenced through his brilliant display of both standards and original compositions.

As a high-flying surprise, there will also be a chance to take a plane ride during the party. The flights will be up to 30 minutes, starting at 5:30pm, and we have 20 spots available for a donation of $25 per person.

Saturday June 24 - Doors will open at 5:30pm for food & fun, music from 6:30pm, film will start at 7:30pm. Bring cash!

The event will take place at the Jet Center at Columbia Regional Airport. Follow signs for parking on arrival.
