Francisca Alegría's magical-realist debut feature The Cow Who Sang a Song Into the Future transports audiences to the Region of Rivers in Southern Chile. In this enchanted landscape, where living ghosts, river pollution, and family secrets collide, Cecilia (Leonor Varela) and her family confront personal and environmental wounds.
This screening will be followed by a community conversation led by Missouri River Relief, exploring topics such as cultural identity in the natural world and environmental justice.
