The End

Academy Award nominated documentarian Joshua Oppenheimer (The Act of Killing, The Look of Silence) makes his fiction feature debut in The End, a post-apocalyptic musical. 25 years after an environmental collapse leaves the world inhospitable, a wealthy family (Michael Shannon, Tilda Swinton, George McKay) live underground in a palatial bunker ignoring all possible existence outside of the bunker. When a stranger from aboveground (Moses Ingram) suddenly appears, the family’s idyllic existence begins to crumble.
