Facing financial difficulties while newly pregnant, married couple Belinda (Brandy) and Norman (Andrew Burnap) agree to take in his estranged and elderly stepmother Solange (Kathryn Hunter) to receive her hefty inheritance. When Solange moves into the front room that was designated as the baby’s nursery, her behavior becomes erratic and violent forcing Belinda to reclaim her home and child from this wicked stepmother.
