Inconsolable after the loss of his wife (Diane Kruger), tech entrepreneur Karsh (Vincent Cassel) launches GraveTech, which allows the bereaved to witness the gradual decay of their buried loved ones using digital shrouds. When vandalization occurs at GraveTech gravesites–including his own wife’s grave–Karsh is joined by computer programmer Maury (Guy Pearce) to uncover the possible assailant. The newest film from body horror legend David Cronenberg (Crimes of the Future) is a masterful exploration of the boundaries of grief, technology, and mortality.
