Details About the Film

After the death of his identical twin, Roman (Dylan O’Brien) joins a support group for twinless twins. After he meets Dennis’s coworker, Roman learns that he and Dennis are both harboring secrets that threaten to ruin their deep bond. Winner of the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, Twinless is a black comedy exploring grief and codependency.

Film Reviews

"Dylan O'Brien gives one (well, two) of the best performances of the year in one of the best films of the year."

–Erik Anderson, AwardsWatch

"It’s refreshing to see a queer movie that trusts the intelligence of its audience, that is not afraid to leave its vernacular unexplained."

–Richard Lawson, Vanity Fair

"Twinless is a dramedy in its truest form, equal parts hilarious, heartbreaking, and even horrific at various points — and occasionally at the same time."

–Taylor Gates, Collider
