Oscar Shorts 2017: Animated

Opens Feb 10, 2017

For the 12th consecutive year, Shorts HD and Magnolia Pictures present the Oscar-Nominated Short Films, opening on Feb. 10th. This is your annual chance to predict the winners! A perennial hit with audiences around the country (and now the world), don't miss this year's selection of shorts. The Academy Awards take place Sunday, Feb. 26th.

Approximate rating: PG for all films except the last film. Important note: PEAR CIDER AND CIGARETTES, one of the five nominees, will be the last film in the program. An inventively animated first-person narration about a troubled friendship, there's violence, language, sex, and drug use in it, and it's not appropriate for children. We'll have a warning card come up prior to this short, so that parents and caregivers can usher children out of the theater if they'd like.
