Jojo Rabbit

Opens Nov 8, 2019

Ah, a tale as old as time: The young German boy in an increasingly confounding world finds a Jewish girl hidden in his home, and turns to the guidance of his imaginary friend... Adolf Hitler. Jojo Rabbit manages to walk the razor sharp line that makes for incredible satire, deftly and thoughtfully savaging jingoism, fascism and antisemitism. This shocking and riotous send-up may well be the best family film (maybe) to confront the ideology of hate since Blazing Saddles.

"There is genuine zest in the unease of Jojo Rabbit, and it's weirdly convincing as a portrait of childhood under surreal strain." (Anthony Lane, New Yorker)

Writer/director Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, Hunt for the Wilderpeople).
