Kamau Bilal Showcase

Opens May 14, 2020

RAGTAG ON DEMAND: Cinema on your Screen

Columbia-native Kamau Bilal is a non-fiction filmmaker and educator at the University of Missouri. His productions are polished and cinematic, but are anchored in the personal—presenting thoughtful, playful and heartfelt portraits of Mid-Western America, and the confluence of cultures that find themselves there.

We are proud to present three of Bilal’s short works: Crown Candy, What Kind of Man, and Baby Brother. Originally broadcast Thursday, May 14 at 7pm.

The presentation is followed by a discussion between Bilal and True/False Film Fest Co-Founder, David Wilson.
