Wednesday, April 12, the public library will screen The Genius of Marian at 6:30pm in the Friends Room. This film is an intimate and courageous portrait of filmmaker Banker White’s 61-year-old mother, Pam White, who is struggling with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. It integrates home movies and family photos with current footage to depict a family’s fight to cope with loss while holding onto its collective memory. A discussion will be hosted afterwards with Amanda De La Mater of the Alzheimer’s Association.
