Moonrise Kingdom  June 29  Wes Anderson's new feature. Set in scenic 60s New England, two young lovers flee their town for a romp in the woods, sparking a town-wide kidhunt. You're gonna wanna come see this.

Monsieur Lazhar  June 29  An Algerian immigrant talks his way into teaching at a Montreal elementary school. Nominated for an Academy Award. (In French, Arabic.)

To Rome with Love  July 6  Another Americans-abroad film from Woody Allen. Looks like a great cast...including Greta Gerwig from the recent Damsels in Distress.

Safety Not Guaranteed  A writer and two interns set off to investigate the guy who wrote this classified:  "Wanted: Someone to go back in time with me. This is not a joke. You'll get paid after we get back. Must bring your own weapons. I have only done this once before. Safety not guaranteed." Looks like a lot of fun.

Shut Up and Play the Hits  July 18 & 19 only! Fans of LCD Soundsystem, you'll want to see this! And anyone interested in a portrait of an artist, you'll like this too. The film follows frontman James Murphy before and after playing his final show, April 2, 2011.

  From Hirokazu Koreeda, director of Still Walking, a former Passport Series selection. A 12-year-old boy is separated from his brother during his parents' divorce. (In Japanese.)

DocuMemories  In honor of True/False's 10th birthday next year we've planned (well, we're planning it as we go) a nine-film retrospective---one film for every year of the festival, one film a month till the festival starts next March. This month's film is I Like Killing Flies (2004), a look at an eccentric Greenwich Village restaurant. July 30.
