On Friday we open Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, which was a favorite of many True/Falsers earlier this year. A fully authorized documentary (Francis Bean was an executive producer) that was eight years in the making, director Brett Morgan's passionate film uses Kurt's home movies, recordings, artwork, photography, and journals to take us on a journey through Cobain’s life and career with Nirvana. It will be here for one week only (check out showtimes here).
Brett Morgan was True/False's True Vision award winner back in 2007. He curated a Spotify playlist of his favorite Nirvana songs and spoke with the New York Times, Little White Lies and the Columbia Tribune about the film.
