To start your fest a bit early, join us for the Neither/Nor kick-off reception on Wednesday evening (February 27) at Ragtag Cinema! Come meet and share a drink with our critic-in-residence Pamela Cohn and filmmaker Pirjo Honkasalo at 6pm. Film at 6:45pm.
The 3 Rooms of Melancholia is a 2004 Finnish documentary film written, directed and co-produced by Pirjo Honkasalo. The film documents the devastation and ruin brought on by the Second Chechen War, more specifically the toll that the war had taken on the children of Chechnya and Russia. And after the film ends, Honkasalo will be participate in a discussion with Cohn and the audience.
Admission is free, but you need a ticket. Stop by the Ragtag box office starting at 12 noon on Wednesday to get a free ticket. To secure your seat, please arrive at Ragtag fifteen minutes prior to the screening.
