We watched Lady Snowblood (1973) in movie club the other week. Born for vengeance, Yuki (Snowblood) is on an epic journey to reclaim her family's honor. It's a fun, visually inventive, blood-geysering samurai flick. Reportedly a major inspiration for Tarantino's Kill Bill (2003). Definitely worth a watch if you're into 70s samurai cinema.
Cutting dudes to bits.
