We just watched Jonathan Glazer's Sexy Beast (2000) in movie club. A retired British gangster living a comfortable life in Spain is called back for a job by a very persuasive (and scary) Ben Kingsley. Highly recommended. Rent it from our friends and neighbors at 9th Street Video.
We open Glazer's new film, Under the Skin, today. Single Scottish boys would be wise to avoid Scarlett Johansson in this beautifully-shot, haunting film.
