Notes from the attic: Women in Cages

Sometimes it's fun to to trash it up with a good old-fashioned exploitation flick. We just watched the Roger Corman-produced Women in Cages (1971) in movie club, where a young American in the Philippines falls in with a drug trafficking "player" and gets a 10-year sentence in an all-women prison ruthlessly run by a young Pam Grier. It's pretty much in bad taste all the way around.
