Starting Jan 1, 2015, the new parking enforcement hours take effect. You now must pay for street parking between 9am and 7pm, Monday through Saturday. This is an hour later than it was.
City garages are still free on Saturday and Sunday. And the hours of enforcement are the same: 8am to 6pm, M–F.
We recommend parking in the city garage catty corner to us, on Hitt & Cherry. Remember, you can park in permit spaces after 6 and on the weekends in all city garages.
Most street meters in the area have a two-hour limit, or less, but there are a few four-hour meters (purple) on Hitt Street last time we looked.
