It's documentary season in Columbia:
There's a special screening of The Central Park Five at 7pm on Wednesday, March 4 at MU's Rhynsburger Theatre. The film examines a 1989 case in which five black and Latino teenagers were unjustly convicted of a rape in Central Park. Following the film, there will be an in-depth Q&A with director Sarah Burns.
This event kicks off this year’s Based on a True Story: The Intersections of Documentary Film and Journalism conference.
