"The House I Live In" and "The Waiting Room" in the running for Best Doc Academy Awards

Congrats to the filmmakers on The House I Live In and The Waiting Room (both playing this week at Ragtag) for making the short list for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. Chosen from 126 films, the Academy names 15 films advancing to the voting process. Five films will be chosen by the Academy's Documentary branch members, and the winner will be announced at the Academy Awards on February 24.
