The Master is the latest, much-anticipated film from writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson, the Hollywood visionary behind There Will Be Blood. It also marks the return of one of our great actors, Joaquin Phoenix (Walk The Line), who stars as a lost, self-destructive veteran drifting through post-War California. Sutton meets the charismatic intellectual Lancaster Dodd (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and wife Mary Sue (Amy Adams), who are launching a new "faith-based organization."
