From two-time Palme d’Or winner Cristian Mungiu, this drama follows a Norwegian woman (Renate Reinsve) and her devout Romanian husband (Sebastian Stan) who relocate to a small village in Norway with their five children. There, they grow closer with their neighbors, even amid concerns about their rigid beliefs. However, when allegations of abuse emerge, this Norwegian-Romanian family is forced to confront a judicial system that blurs the line between concern and contempt.
